These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Secterious website located at secterious.com (the “Site”) and, where applicable, your engagement of cybersecurity services from Secterious (“Secterious,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an Israel-based cybersecurity consultancy. By accessing the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Website Use

The content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and other material, is provided for general informational purposes about Secterious and its services. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent, except as necessary for normal browsing use.

2. No Professional Advice From the Website

Information on this Site, including blog content, service descriptions, and general guidance, is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional cybersecurity, legal, or compliance advice. Specific security recommendations are provided only through a formal, scoped engagement governed by a separate services agreement or statement of work.

3. Services Engagements

Where you engage Secterious for services such as penetration testing, red team assessments, managed SOC, incident response, CISO advisory, or related cybersecurity services, the specific scope, deliverables, fees, and terms of that engagement will be set out in a separate mutually signed services agreement, statement of work, or rules of engagement document, which will govern in the event of any conflict with these Terms.

4. Authorized Testing Only

Any offensive security testing (including penetration testing and red team engagements) is performed strictly within the scope, systems, and timeframes explicitly authorized in writing by the client. Nothing on this Site authorizes any testing, scanning, or security research against systems that Secterious does not have explicit written authorization to test.

5. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, service marks, and logos displayed on the Site are the property of Secterious or their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to use any such marks without our prior written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law: the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied; Secterious shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Site; and our total liability arising out of or related to the Site shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by you to us for access to the Site. For services delivered under a signed services agreement, liability is governed by the limitation of liability, indemnification, and insurance terms set out in that agreement, which shall control over this general Site-level limitation. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law, including in relation to gross negligence or willful misconduct.

7. Confidentiality

Confidential information exchanged in the course of a services engagement is protected under the confidentiality provisions of the applicable services agreement or a separate non-disclosure agreement, as agreed between the parties.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services not owned or controlled by Secterious. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.

9. Governing Law

Unless otherwise agreed in a specific services agreement, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Israel, except where a signed services agreement specifies a different governing law or forum.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
